$Epiphysiolysis is a separation of an epiphysis from the bone shaft. Metaphyseal wedge also known as corner fractures, bucket handle fractures or metaphyseal lesions. It is an injury of the growing plate at each end of a long bone. The metaphysis is not actually a bone but a piece of cartilage which only fully ossifies when we are adults. SH II (Type II); A fracture through growth plate and epiphysis and metaphysis sparing the epiphysis.$
